The Skin Stapler is a first-person, narrative-driven horror game about a serial killer leaving behind mutilated bodies and terrifying messages. Detective Dick Slater tracks the criminal known as the Skin Stapler and becomes immersed in an investigation that gradually leads him to the hidden side of Carrion City. But the case quickly becomes more than just a simple manhunt. The investigation leads to a place from which it was better not to return. Investigate crime scenes, search for clues, solve terrifying puzzles, and follow the chain of events the killer deliberately leaves for the police. The story isn't limited to just one detective: as other characters, you'll experience encounters with the stalker in homes, workplaces, and dark city streets. The city is filled with distorted audio recordings, strange characters, and hints of something far more dangerous beneath the surface.
