About the game
Jaden Williams' The Stalking Stairs is a first-person psychological horror game where a routine evening delivery turns into a deadly investigation. The city has imposed a curfew after a series of murders, and you need to complete the order before 21:00 PM. An old apartment building greets you with creaking floorboards and an eerie silence, where every knock on the door could be your last. The House That Never Sleeps The corridors of the decaying building seem endless, and the neighbors too strange for a casual encounter. Conversations with residents reveal disturbing details, but never provide the full picture. Each floor intensifies the feeling of surveillance, and the courier's routine task gradually devolves into an attempt to understand what exactly lies behind closed doors. The story unfolds through exploration, dialogue, and environmental details. Low-poly aesthetics and shimmering textures create an unsettling retro atmosphere, where sound plays a key role. The plot unfolds gradually, bringing you closer to the truth about the missing people and who might be lurking in the darkness of this building. Features of the game Exploring an apartment building from a first-person perspective. Interactive dialogues with residents and variable responses. Retro visual style in the spirit of the PSX era. Customizable sound, graphics and control options.
