Perils of Man – a classic point-and-click adventure game from the Swiss IF Games and Vertigo Games, released on PC on April 28, 2015. It was developed by former LucasArts employees Bill Tiller and Gene Moxey. Tiller was a former artist on The Curse of Monkey Island and The Dig, and his masterful touch is immediately evident: the hand-drawn style, 3D character animation, and challenging puzzles. The Secret of the Eberling Family The protagonist, teenage girl Ana Eberling, is trying to find out what happened to her father. Max Eberling was a scientist, unpopular with his colleagues, who disappeared when Ana was very young. Gradually, she discovers that her family has been guarding a secret for generations: access to a hidden mechanism of the universe through which they can influence fate. Behind the façade of scientific discoveries and family wealth, secrets, rivalries, and tragedy stretching across a century are revealed. Travels to disasters The key to the mystery is hidden in the chronicle of historical disasters. Through it, Ana enters the past, to real events from the era of great inventions. Hidden technology allows her to anticipate risks and try to prevent a disaster that affects the lives of thousands. The puzzles are built on this idea: you need to understand the chain of cause and effect and determine which intervention will change the outcome. There are 24 locations in the game. From iOS to PC First Perils of Man Released on iOS, with just the first episode. The second was expected later, but the creators decided not to split the story and release the full version immediately, simultaneously porting it to computers. In Switzerland, the game won the Game of the Year award at the SGDA Swiss Game Awards 2014.
