The game constantly plays on the feeling of something simultaneously beautiful and unsettling: fields of red lilies near the River of Oblivion give way to wastelands beyond the Gates of Ghosts, and behind the tranquil halls and temples lie veritable circles of hell for the sinners. Movement here becomes part of the combat. The main emphasis is on mobility. The hero constantly grapples with the environment, changing positions sharply with dashes, rolls, and double jumps, making battles feel very fluid. Many enemies deliberately force you to move nonstop: some close off space with attacks, others overwhelm you with speed, and some bosses literally turn the arena into a trap. As a result, fights feel less like a slow exchange of blows and more like a constant attempt to maintain control and maintain momentum. The Artifact and Soulstone systems operate separately. The game allows you to freely combine effects and gradually develop your own playstyle. You can emphasize aggressive attacks through mobility, build a safer approach with defense and talismans, or transform your hero into a machine for constant counterattacks.
