About the game
Yuremizu: Hold It Through the Shift is a psychological arcade game about working in a cafe, where an ordinary part-time job turns into a torturous ordeal. After a regular shift, a senior colleague casually utters a strange remark about running water and the urgent need to find a restroom. At first, it seems like a stupid joke, but the very next day, the girl notices she can't stand the sight of running water. The problem is especially frustrating when almost every order is for drinks. The longest shift The workday is spent behind the counter at the café, constantly taking new orders and serving water to customers. The better she manages the flow of customers, the longer she can maintain control. There are almost no free minutes, and any mistake leads to further delays. While customers calmly wait for their drinks, a completely different tension builds within the heroine, one that becomes harder to ignore with each passing minute. After each stage is completed, the influence of the suggestion intensifies. What previously caused only mild discomfort begins to interfere with everyday life and alter the habitual perception of things. New thoughts arise spontaneously, and the most ordinary situations suddenly become a source of anxiety. The further the story progresses, the more noticeable the consequences of that casual remark uttered a few days ago. Features of the game Work in a cafe with a constant flow of orders. A psychological story about obsessive suggestion. Increasing complexity from shift to shift. Several stages with new impact effects.
