WOODROT is a surreal adventure about an elderly technician whose apartment complex suddenly finds itself in the middle of a vast ocean. Oswald, the 72-year-old caretaker of the building, continues his usual duties despite the impossibility of what is happening. The hallways, elevators, and apartments remain intact, but a strange reality now lurks behind every door. A house drifting in the void Oswald goes from floor to floor, repairing machinery and checking on residents' complaints, but each visit turns into a journey into someone else's fantasy. One apartment is flooded and inhabited by frogs, another has been converted into a shrine to dubious ideas, and in the basement, a machine emitting an incomprehensible whisper runs. Ordinary duties gradually become intertwined with a sense of hidden danger. The world of the complex reacts to the player's actions. Conversations, refusal to intervene, or attempts to understand what's happening change the atmosphere and reveal additional fragments of the story.
