WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition WolfQuest is a gray wolf life simulator in Yellowstone from the American studio eduweb. It's a reworked version of the educational game WolfQuest, originally released in 2007. The Anniversary Edition spent six years in early access, from July 2019, and was fully released on July 22, 2025. The game was developed with the help of scientific ethologists. Your own pack from scratch Your wolf leaves his original pack and begins a solitary life in northern Yellowstone Park, primarily in the Lamar Valley, known as the Serengeti of North America. He must hunt, learn to bring down elk, mule deer, and elk, find a mate, and care for them. Then a den site is chosen, a territory is marked out, and puppies are born in the den. They must be fed, played with, and protected from predators. Year after year The puppies grow, the family becomes nomadic, and the young learn to hunt. By the following spring, the yearlings help raise a new litter, while some leave to build their own lives. The cycle repeats until your wolf dies, at which point you can choose an heir and continue the family with a new generation. Traits such as eye color, fur color, and personality traits are passed down. An entire ecosystem thrives around you: herds of elk migrate, males fight during the rutting season in the fall, and other packs, grizzlies, cougars, and coyotes compete with you for prey and land. For those looking for a more challenging experience, there's the "Iron Wolf" mode, where death is permanent. A pack of friends You can raise puppies together online throughout the game year, defend your territory from rivals, or simply run around the map. A separate two-player mode allows you to lead a shared pack through multiple generations. The game shares only the name with Titan Quest Anniversary Edition.
