Everyone has their own perspective on history, and if you download War Front: Turning Point via torrent in Russian, you'll see a very different version of World War II. According to the creators of this real-time strategy game, Hitler was assassinated in a conspiracy before he invaded Poland, meaning before the global cataclysm began. But the process he set in motion kicked in, and the war began anyway. In the world of War Front Turning Point, you'll find yourself in 1941. In this version of events, the Germans capture Great Britain after Poland. The United States and the Soviet Union intervene in the war. You can choose to play as the Allies, who have the most powerful weaponry in the world. They have everything from the British Matilda supertank to the American M26 heavy "dinosaur," and the Lockheed P-38 bomber, which not only bombs targets but can also counter Messerschmitts without support. Germany, on the other hand, has Panthers and the famous Tigers, as well as some very menacing exoskeletons and a bomb-dropping airship. The most entertaining faction in the game is the Soviet Union. They have a massive human attack despite terrible losses, Molotov cocktails as practically their primary weapon, and vodka trading. Since you can play as all three sides, it's definitely worth it to appreciate the creativity of the game's creators and have a good laugh at their vision of the Soviet Army's driving force during the war. The alternate reality itself is very interesting, and this strategy game gives free rein to the imagination, allowing players to experience many pleasant moments while defeating a powerful enemy.
