About the game

This large-scale expansion for the strategy game Command & Conquer: Generals takes place in the near future and chronicles the battles between the terrorist Global Liberation Army (GLA) and Chinese and American forces. Command & Conquer: Generals – Zero Hour includes three additional campaigns, each consisting of five missions. However, this expansion isn't the only exciting feature — it also includes a host of new features. For example, the series' signature video recordings detailing the specifics of a particular operation are now available; nine generals, three from each faction, each possessing unique talents; and a host of new units and buildings. These and other modifications make the gameplay significantly more varied. The story of Zero Hour continues the one told in the original game. The GAO has acquired a toxic weapon, based on a virus more powerful than anthrax. The US and Chinese armies have begun searching for the factories and laboratories producing these dangerous substances. They must act quickly, as terrorists have already targeted important strategic targets, including a US Navy base in Northern Europe. It's worth noting that the maps where the battle takes place are significantly larger than those used in the original. Objects are realistically destroyed, and the overall emphasis is on authenticity. Game features: - About 20 new units and 30 vehicle upgrade options have been added. Many laser weapons have been added. The campaign consists of 15 missions—5 for each faction. You'll be fighting across vast territories in various parts of the world. - Generals' Challenge mode has been added. Challenge several of the strongest generals from different factions and discover their weaknesses. Each faction has three generals, each unique. There are specialists in tanks, nuclear weapons, camouflage, toxic substances... The world is beautiful and yet destructible. The player will see all sorts of natural and man-made objects. Each has its own durability, but almost everything can be razed to the ground.
