About the game
The Movies is a project with an unusual concept from developer LionHead Studios. This game is a true dream for anyone who's always wanted to make their own movie and experience the entire production process from start to finish, but lacks the studio's colossal budget. Essentially, you're given a very real opportunity: open a studio, write a script, cast actors, shoot a film, and share your creation online for the public to see! What to do? In the story, you're a budding studio owner tasked with making a great, high-quality film. You've been given a rather dubious contract that doesn't specify what you're supposed to do, but instead provides a countdown. So, the ball is already rolling: you must meet the contract deadline, make a great film, and beat out your competitors, as they'll be the first to snatch your directors and staff. So, step by step: first we open a small studio, then we write a script, then we hire a director, a film crew, actors, and begin full-scale filming! Details are also crucial: your directors should be calm and composed, your actors slim and attractive, and your film crew professional. This will save you significant time and resources. Don't forget that your crew should be as complete as possible, but not overstaffed. You'll be the one keeping an eye on them all, and they are real people with their own fears, complexes, and problems. Emotions in the frame Let's start with the fact that your actors will throw fits, become depressed, and gain weight. So you'll have to treat their sadness. Your screenwriters will constantly show up, insisting that the director isn't filming according to the script and demanding that everything be left as is. You'll have to deal with that, too. Incidentally, there will also be a shortage of staff, so many will have to be retrained and re-educated. And from "higher up," you'll be constantly pestered with questions about when a good film will finally see the light of day! Welcome to cinema hell! Features of the game The game offers all the tools for creating a great movie, from casting talented actors and directors to special effects, stunts, and filming on any location, including dedicated special effects sets. The game features five genres: action, horror, comedy, romance, and sci-fi. If you pull yourself together and get your workflow right, you'll be able to create a decent movie. Installation procedure 1. Mount the image in Alcohol 52% [120%] or Daemon Tools; 2. Install the game; 3. Play.
