About the game
Retroneer — is an unusual roguelite about assembling electrical circuits, where the excitement revolves around combinations of modules, energy, and reaction chains that suddenly transform a small circuit board into a noisy monster of pulses and effects. It all starts off fairly calmly: a few components, simple orders, and attempts to meet the required parameters. But after a while, the desktop begins to look like a strange engineering lab, assembled by someone overly enthusiastic about experimentation. The fun begins when the scheme gets out of control. One component amplifies another, which triggers a new reaction, and within a few seconds the entire structure begins to function like a perfectly tuned machine. It's these moments that provide the greatest pleasure — watching your own setup suddenly produce insane results and begin generating numbers far higher than expected. At the same time, everything is done in a very tactile way. The clicking of parts, the whirring of circuits, and the sounds of the workbench create the feeling of real construction, not an abstract puzzle. Gradually, new modules, characters, and strange customer requests are revealed, revealing the history of Amplitude's technologies and the things that had to be sacrificed to create them. Features of the game Roguelite on assembling electrical circuits. Deep combinations of modules and components. Gradual discovery of new technologies. The atmosphere of an engineering workshop and sci-fi.
