Swarmdustry is a strategy game about building a factory where, instead of the usual machines, pipes, and conveyors, a living organism develops. The swarm extracts resources, grows workers, and gradually transforms a small hive into a complex production system. Here, industry literally consists of flesh: buildings, creatures, and transport routes are interconnected and function as a single organism. Development of live production Initially, a significant portion of the work must be performed manually, but over time, manual labor gives way to automation. Different members of the Swarm are assigned specific duties: some mine materials, others handle transportation, others transfer energy, and certain species support construction and production. From these elements, branching chains can be created, connecting buildings with routes and gradually expanding the colony's scale. Expansion requires not only resources but also thoughtful spatial organization. Some structures require energy, others use fuel, so the placement of energy structures and the movement of creatures within the network must be carefully considered. The Genetic Chamber opens up new possibilities for further development, and specialized construction creatures allow for the automatic construction of large sections of the base using pre-saved designs. At the same time, enemy factions are present on the planet, forcing the defense of existing infrastructure and consideration of threats during further expansion.
