Operation Lone Wolf – an online first-person shooter about World War II from Operation Games, released in early access on October 1, 2018. It was developed by a single developer, and the core of the game is quick, free-for-all matches on servers with up to ten players. Nine modes without commands There are no team modes; all modes are based on the free-for-all principle. In addition to standard combat, there's "Arms Race," where weapons change with every kill, and modes that allow only sniper rifles, only shotguns, or only pistols. There are twelve maps, ranging from tight arenas for quick firefights to large open locations, two of which have been redesigned for winter. Weapons, Perks, and Kill Streaks There are thirty guns, divided into five categories. The more you use a particular weapon, the more upgrade points it earns, and some models can be equipped with a scope or a suppressor. There are eighteen perks. Kill streaks award rewards like a radar, a bomber strike, or a guided bomb, while long streaks also grant soldier buffs, such as increased running speed and increased health. Skins are unlocked at level three, and everything from weapons to paint jobs is purchased exclusively with in-game money, with no microtransactions or loot boxes. Single player and bots In addition to online matches, there's the first single-player mission, a dogfight mode, and PvE against bots. Offline play with bots is convenient for testing weapons and perks before facing live opponents. The game remains in Early Access, and there haven't been any updates in a while.
