Midnight Saturn — is a sci-fi detective adventure about a tired private investigator who once again gets involved in things he shouldn't. It all begins with the murder of a powerful lawyer, but the routine investigation quickly devolves into rumors of aliens, strange connections, and things the local cops would rather leave alone. Bad business Symme Gurnett is accustomed to dirty stories, but here, things start to unravel too quickly. Witnesses are spouting lies, the city seems increasingly alien at night, and a conversation with a psychic suddenly proves more useful than the entire police force combined. He's forced to walk the streets, extract information from locals, and figure out why there's so much panic and uncertainty surrounding the case. The atmosphere itself works very well. Neon, rainy streets, pixelated sci-fi, and the constant feeling that something much larger is hidden behind a simple murder. At the same time, the game doesn't forget the humor: alongside the dark conversations, absurd characters and strange situations easily emerge, which only further emphasize the overall vibe of old-school sci-fi noir.
