About the game

Imprinted is an atmospheric story about sound, loss, and the dangerous proximity to someone else's work. You assume the role of Vincent Brandt, an audio restoration engineer whose work has long since become routine. However, a new assignment — damaged tapes of a missing musician from the late 1970s — gradually blurs the line between professional interest and obsession. Cassettes that don't want to be silent The work begins as another commission: restore recordings, clean up noise, restore form to shattered sound. But each tape carries not only music but also fragments of someone else's life. Experimental melodies, strange pauses, and distorted voices combine to create a disturbing portrait of Viola Fozzati, whose fascination with the occult and mysterious disappearance echo in every restored track. Delving deeper, Vincent discovers that sound can influence his perception of reality. The work ceases to be simply a craft: restoring recordings becomes a personal journey, where creativity, the ghosts of the past, and his own burnout intertwine. The clearer the sound becomes, the more dangerous the silence between tapes becomes. Features of the game A story about audio recording recovery and possession. An atmosphere of mysticism and creative burnout. A story told through sound and recording fragments. Slow, tense storytelling without rushing.
