Hunting Simulator 3 – the third installment of the hunting simulator from Nacon Studio Ghent, formerly Neopica, published by Nacon. The release for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series is scheduled for October 29, 2026. The game is built on Unreal Engine 5 and features an open world. Colorado and Texas Hunting takes place in two large regions: the wilds of Colorado and the vast expanses of Texas. There are over forty species of animals. You can explore the world on foot or in an all-terrain vehicle. The weather changes, and the soundtrack has been significantly reworked this time around. The developers say they've taken into account feedback from players of the first two games, which they say have been played by over a million players. Animals that react The main new feature is called SimFauna. It's a system that controls animal behavior: they respond to your actions, age, and reproduce. Hunting options include stalking prey or lying in wait with decoys and bait. Weapons include rifles, shotguns, bows, and crossbows from official brands, including Beretta, Winchester, and Browning. Each gun has its own unique sound and ballistics. Clothing is also licensed and affects the hunt. The Dog and the Hunter's Lodge A hunting dog is always by your side. You give it commands through a radial menu: it tracks, follows, and retrieves small game, and its performance improves with time. Trophies are displayed in the hunting lodge, and equipment is purchased and adjusted. For warm-ups, there's clay pigeon shooting and a timed shooting range with a scoreboard.
