Helms of Fury – a 2D action roguelike with pixel art from the small studio A Bit Awake. You descend into procedurally generated dungeons, collect items and runes, and choose from three knights with different fighting styles. Three Knights The Storm Knight charges his attacks with lightning bolts. The Mecha Knight uses brute force and explosions. The Wild Knight fires a bow and summons pets. The chosen hero determines not only the combat style but also the items and runes that drop during the run. The combat is fast, almost hack-and-slash: enemies are numerous, traps are scattered throughout the dungeon, and treasures are awarded for capturing them. Objects as techniques The key feature is that any item found is transformed into an ability. You can gain a spinning sword attack, a leaping hammer strike, a lightning strike, explosive bombs, pets that knock rocks out of the way, and even a beehive. As the run progresses, the knight chooses specializations, finds Chaos Orbs, and picks up runes that enhance existing items. This creates powerful builds, and the next run begins with a new set. Together on one screen You can play dungeons with a friend on the same computer, using shared or split-screen mode, or even invite someone from home via Remote Play Together. The second player chooses their knight, and the loot is tailored to their class. The developers jokingly suggest testing whether two helmets are truly better than one.
