Goetia — an adventure detective game that challenges you to uncover the terrible secret of the Blackwood family. The main character, or rather, the glowing ball, is a girl named Abigail, or rather, her ghost. Yes, Goetia offers a different perspective on the materialization of spirits risen from the grave than many other games. Even the girl herself doesn't know why she returned from the dead. Therefore, the gamer faces a challenging task: help Abigail Blackwood unravel a family secret. The protagonist left the world of the living back in 1902, and suddenly, 39 years later, in the midst of war, she finds herself back on this sinful earth. How and why she ended up here is unknown to her. Just as unknown is what her family has been doing for nearly 40 years. Her family was very fond of research and experimentation, not shying away from extreme methods — the occult. The Blackwood family estate and its surroundings seem deserted, yet these locations hold the answers to a terrible secret. Abigail must explore a sprawling mansion comprising 90 rooms, as well as four other sprawling locations: ruins in the estate's courtyard, a nearby abandoned village, a gloomy forest, and dark caves. The game is point-and-click controlled. It is available for three PC platforms: Windows, OS X, and Linux. Since Abigail is a ghost, she can pass through walls and ceilings.
