The core remains firmly rooted in traditional chess, but after just a couple of rounds, the game begins to break the usual logic: special kings, strange effects, new piece variations, and bosses that play by completely different rules appear. An ordinary chess game doesn't last long here. One king can change the rules of movement, another can strengthen pieces or completely revolutionize the gameplay. At the same time, books with passive effects, special squares, study cards, and piece upgrades are appearing. Because of this, the game gradually evolves not just into chess, but into an assembly based on combinations and synergies, where skill is no longer the only factor, but also the successful combination of effects. Every few rounds, the game pits you against bosses based on different chess variants. In some cases, you have to play with the fog of war, while others employ anti-chess or Atomic rules. These modes constantly challenge your usual thinking and force you to rethink your approach mid-game.
