At E3 2015 in June, American company Bethesda Softworks held its first conference, unveiling several new titles. Among them was a rather unexpected release for gamers: The Elder Scrolls: Legends. For the first time, this legendary open-world role-playing game series, which dates back to 1994, will feature a new genre — a collectible card game. Bye bye The Elder Scrolls Legends There's very little information available, and the developers don't plan to share it until the release, which is expected in the fourth quarter of this year. All we know is that the plot The Elder Scrolls Legends will cover the events of all previous games in the series, meaning gamers will be able to meet their favorite characters and painfully familiar enemies. The presentation trailer didn't reveal anything about the gameplay. The Elder Scrolls LegendsHowever, the game has been widely compared online to Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, a project from another renowned American company, Blizzard Entertainment. This collectible card game was released in 2014 and is supported on platforms such as Windows, OS X, iOS, and Android. Bethesda's new title, however, has a narrower device range, currently supporting Windows and iOS.
