FRACTALS OF DESTINY – a third-person fantasy role-playing game from KRAKATOA STUDIOS. It entered early access in July 2023, and the full version was released on April 6, 2024. The main character, Zerva, a warrior with cosmic powers, wants to uncover the truth and change her own destiny. War of two universes The action takes place in the year 5823. Two forces are waging a devastating war: Velxar Azartus from the Western Universe and the Empire of Light from the Eastern Universe. The United Alliance is unable to intervene. Zerva serves the Alliance and dreams of becoming the greatest general in its history. After the war, she finds love in her companion Eldran, and the two promise to keep the peace. Fate, as the title itself suggests, has other plans. Key characters include the leaders of the warring factions, Zeranos and Anum'Ra. Turn-based real-time combat The combat system blends two approaches. Battles are fast-paced, like an action RPG, but rely on the moves and order of actions found in classic RPGs. Bosses are designed independently: each has its own phases and techniques, requiring a fresh approach. With experience, Zerva levels up, unlocking and upgrading skills, and a talent system allows for a personalized playstyle. Weapons, armor, potions, and other items can be crafted from found resources. Semi-open world The world isn't completely open, but it's quite large: diverse landscapes, cities, hidden places, and dangerous areas. In addition to the main storyline, there are side quests connected to the main story and clues leading to hidden finds. The main storyline and side quests will take between 8 and 20 hours to complete. There's no multiplayer; the game is single-player only. Gamepad support is available. Download torrent.
