El Paso, Elsewhere 2 is a neo-noir action film about a vampire who long ago realized one simple thing: monsters don't always have the sharpest fangs. Following the events of the first film, James Savage continues to hunt supernatural creatures across America, until one deal ends in betrayal. Waking up in an open grave, he finds himself drawn into a new story where not only the fate of the world is at stake, but also his relationship with a man he once considered a friend. And James knows only one way to solve such problems: with a gun. Time slows down and total chaos The shootouts feel like a cross between a 2000s action movie and a nightmare filmed on film. James flies through the air, smashes into crowds of enemies with spinning kicks, blasts monsters with revolvers and shotguns, and then finishes off any who still try to resist with stakes. All of this is accompanied by the game's signature slow-mo, making even the most frantic combat look impressive and stylish. The action constantly shifts, keeping the game fresh. One level drops the hero into a dilapidated city, another sends him to a library that exists in multiple dimensions, and the next confronts monsters in places where reality itself begins to crumble. The story, however, doesn't forget James's personal drama, turning each monster hunt into an attempt to come to terms with the mistakes of his past.
