Ylem's Cat is an action-adventure story about a girl named Molly and a mysterious cat who set out together to search for her missing mother. After a catastrophe, the heroine is rescued by a strange, shape-shifting creature, whom she names Mio. The journey takes Molly across a dying planet, among ancient ruins and traces of vanished giants, while the cat's strange behavior gradually pushes her to question his origins and her own past.
