Shortly before the apocalypse, the fast food chain MKing released a new hamburger. It was laced with an addictive drug, which was supposed to boost sales. And the plan worked. However, the drug negatively affected the brain of everyone who tried the hamburger, shutting down all areas of the brain except one — the one responsible for the desire for fresh meat. Furthermore, all those infected effectively became immortal — they could not die of natural causes. In this situation, the only option left was to resort to military force.
