A virtual adaptation of the popular board game based on the stories of the great horror writer H.P. Lovecraft. Some of his works are still included in the Cthulhu Mythos collection and tell of terrifying, bloodthirsty cosmic monsters that existed on planet Earth long before the advent of humanity and were the most ancient gods, ruling the universe, time, and planets. It was his imagination that gave birth to these bloodthirsty monsters, which make the hairs on your body stand on end. They live in a parallel dimension but periodically invade our earthly world. Specifically, the game takes you to an ancient mansion where a horrific murder was committed. The action takes place in a small town in 1926, where an astronomy professor was murdered. Her wounds suggest she died a horrible death. You must venture into the very lair of the monsters, but before you do, you must choose 12 assistants — experienced detectives, each with their own skills and abilities — to help you shed light on the events and solve the mysterious murder, collect evidence, and conduct interrogations. Your companions are tough guys, skilled in both long-range and short-range weapons, as well as spells and magic. They'll help you piece together the details to build a coherent story, while simultaneously collecting vital items throughout the mansion that will help you survive. But remember, this is Lovecraft's work, so you'll have to monitor the investigators' psychological state, as they can easily go mad after the horrors they witness. Mysticism lies not only in forgotten nightmares but also in the terrifying places where cults worshipping monsters beyond human comprehension were held. The game was first announced in 2018 by Asmodee Digital, with the script written by FantasyFlight Interactive. It is expected to be released on all gaming platforms by the end of 2021. The game is currently available through online stores and for download. Arkham Horror Mother's Embrace on PC via torrent in Russian.
