A Tale of Silent Depths is a grim underwater strategy game about a world that long ago sank, along with its ancient civilization. The remnants of humanity hide within enormous Arks — giant underwater fortresses drifting in the ocean's darkness. You are the captain of one of these arks. Where to sail, who to trade with, who to plunder, and which secrets are best left untouched — you'll have to decide for yourself. The deeper you go, the worse the finds become. The ocean constantly throws up new routes, sunken stations, ruins, and the territories of other Arcs. Somewhere you can find rare resources or blueprints, while others can run into pirates, predators, or things that shouldn't even exist underwater. The most valuable finds are almost always found in places a normal captain wouldn't voluntarily venture. Drones become your main striking force. Assemble squads for different roles: heavy vehicles for direct confrontations, fast scouts, stealthy builds for sorties, or strange hybrids that only work thanks to a clever combination of modules. Battles are turn-based and quickly punish mistakes — poor positioning or unnecessary risks can cost not only your vehicles but also Ark itself.
