Wrath and Retribution is a high-speed space roguelike where you lead a counterattack against a Remnant fleet that has seized control of the solar system's transport network. As Specter One, you pilot a prototype Retribution equipped with an experimental Specter Drive, allowing you to instantly shift through space and literally tear through enemy lines. The game is built around an aggressive pace, constant movement, and a rapid buildup of firepower through loot and upgrades. Breaking through the blockade The mission map is an active conflict zone with multiple engagement points, resupply docks, and a final Array node to liberate. The path to it isn't predetermined: you can choose your targets, take risks for rare loot, or proceed more cautiously to conserve resources. These decisions directly impact your readiness for the final confrontation with the enemy capital ship. The encounters themselves are fast and fluid. Light fighters give way to ships with turret batteries and dense escorts, forcing constant repositioning. The Spectre Drive allows you to break out of encirclement or instantly close the distance. After the battle, you upgrade your weapons, combine modules, and unlock the Merlin's potential, creating synergies that gradually transform the ship into a dominant force.
