Witch of Oblivion – a magical open-world soulslice game with roguelike elements from indie studio Tasto Alpha. No Steam release date has been announced yet. The main character, Liva, the Witch of Oblivion, fights with fire, and the forest she walks through is rebuilt every day. Witch without memory Liva has lost her memories and is trying to recover them. Her path leads through a forest inhabited by monstrous Ancients, and defeating them gradually restores her past. The heroine's decisions change the world around her and lead to one of several endings. She can challenge the Ancients, leave the world frozen as it is, or succumb to the darkness of oblivion. The game contains fantasy violence and discussions about the meaning of life. Fire that does not obey Liva's primary weapon is fire magic. Spells can be combined to flank enemies, and staves can be used for close-quarters combat. Fire also works outside of combat: it can be used to burn enemies, illuminate paths, and reveal hidden treasures. However, an out-of-control flame destroys more than just enemies, and some of the damage can't be undone. So, setting everything on fire is a bad idea. A forest that changes every day Every new day, the forest is generated anew: the layout, enemies, dungeons, and loot locations change. The deeper you go, the stronger the enemies and the more valuable the rewards. In the Cauldron of Chaos, gear is crafted from collected materials and stones, and stones with active and passive skills allow you to customize your gear to suit your style. Online leaderboards rewarding rare materials are available for the fastest victories over the Twisted Ancients. Online co-op is also announced.
