Why did Watch Dogs become one of the biggest hits of 2014? There are many reasons. First, it opened up a huge scope for action. The player controls hacker Aiden Pearce, able to hack into the ctOS computer that controls Chicago from top to bottom. This means Aiden can influence transportation, communications, and public events. Second, developer Ubisoft Montreal created the powerful Disrupt engine specifically for the game. Third, the story is captivating, focusing on the eternal theme of revenge. The hero uses not only his brain but also his fists and weapons. Fourth, fifth... And all of this makes you want to download Watch Dogs 2 from a torrent! When will the sequel arrive? Ubisoft Montreal representatives haven't announced anything yet. The company is still actively working on the first game, which launched on Wii U in November 2014. As a reminder, owners of personal computers and consoles from Sony and Microsoft began playing the game on May 27, 2014. Furthermore, the Canadian company is working on several other hit projects, including the shooter Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege, which is scheduled for release in 2015. Therefore, Watch Dogs 2 will have to wait. However, it's unlikely to take five years, which is how long it took to develop the first game, because the foundation is already in place, meaning they won't have to start from scratch. And it will definitely feature some very notable improvements and unexpected plot developments.
