One-room apartment The hero is trapped in a one-room apartment in some northern welfare state, the year is 2018. He's been out of work for ages, has no one to talk to, and every day is just like the one before. The challenge is to stay within this circle. He needs to take care of both his body and his mind: eat, drink in moderation, go to the bathroom, wash, and find some form of entertainment to keep his dopamine levels up. Boredom here can literally kill, and a dirty bathroom can significantly dampen his mood. Dreams instead of life The protagonist's personal story unfolds simultaneously. When the day ends, he goes to bed, and it's in his dreams that he feels most alive. There, he could be anyone: an office worker, a husband, a hero. The contrast between the drab apartment and his dreams drives the entire play. Comedy is mixed with drama and trauma, and the humor is dark. The story has multiple endings, and certain elements resemble a lighter roguelike.
