Ultima Underworld is the forefather of RPG games, and its release has inspired many studios to create similar projects. Unfortunately, it's not yet clear when it will be available for download. Underworld Ascendant via torrent, but we know the game is conceived as a revival of the original series' past, of course, with the addition of quality improvements, the use of a new engine, etc. But creating a game is not a cheap endeavor, and nothing will come of it on pure enthusiasm, so naturally the project needs good funding. Paul Neurath decided to use Kickstarter to raise funds, which was largely successful — the required $600 was raised. Among the developers' new plans are the opening of the Underground Swamps location, inhabited by various monsters, the arrival of the Dark Elves, and the introduction of the Lizard race — each of which requires funding. The developers promise greater realism for deep immersion in the fantasy world, along with gameplay in the unforgettable RPG and sandbox styles.
