The Severed Gods is a tactical RPG with turn-based combat and roguelike progression, pitting a squad of heroes against colossal titans in a dark fantasy world. Each defeat begins a new cycle: unlock new characters, enhance your abilities, collect relics, and use your accumulated experience to gradually move closer to destroying the gods. Destroy your enemies piece by piece Battles are built around height and enemy vulnerabilities. Each Titan has a lower, middle, and upper level, each with its own defenses and weaknesses. Find weak spots, break down defenses, and deny your enemies the ability to attack. By severing a limb, you can permanently disable a specific enemy ability and change the course of the battle. Defeat doesn't reset all progress. After each rebirth, unlock new heroes, upgrade their abilities, and carry powerful relics into your next campaign. Along the way, you'll have to make decisions that impact your karma: help those in need or exploit their weaknesses, resist the darkness or embrace its power.
