The Island of Doctor Morose This is the story of Howard, who realized too late that his envy of his friend was entirely unfounded. While he sat on the mainland, fuming over his rejection, Philip sailed off to Greatmo Island to work for the famous Dr. Moroes. Then rumors began to circulate. People whispered about strange sounds coming from the island, disappearances, and experiments from which no one ever returned the same. And Philip himself seemed to simply vanish. Greatmo clearly didn't want guests. From the very first minute, the island seems wrong. Everything around it operates by its own twisted laws: enormous machinery rumbles somewhere underground, strange creatures stir in the darkness, and the old buildings look as if they were built by people who long ago forgot what a normal home should look like. And the further Howard goes, the more it seems that Dr. Morous has long been engaged in something far worse than conventional science. Here, you constantly have to go where a normal person simply wouldn't. Search for keys among the trash, rummage through the labs, haul oil for the lamp, and listen for anything moving behind the wall. Sometimes you manage to slip past quietly, sometimes a fight breaks out, where a slingshot is the only thing separating you from the latest creature.
