The Gate Must Stand — is a roguelike action game with tower defense elements, where the city's defense rests on one last line. Belrak is surrounded by demonic hordes, and thousands of people remain behind the gates, with nowhere else to run. Choose a hero, assemble a fighting force, and march out to face the invasion. As long as the gates stand, the city lives. If they fall, the battle will be lost, no matter how many enemies you destroy. A defense in which the commander goes into battle himself At the center of the action is not a tower or an AI-controlled army, but the player themselves. Allies take up positions, hold lines, and support each other with abilities, while the hero fights alongside them, breaking into the most dangerous areas of the front. Some combinations transform the defensive line into an impenetrable fortress, while others allow you to crush the advancing hordes with an aggressive onslaught and constant pressure on the enemy.
