Terrafactor — it's automation and factory construction, where everything boils down to one task: feeding a bottomless pit. First, you gather resources by hand, carry them back and forth, and try to figure out how to build a flow. Then machines, conveyors, and production links appear — and the whole system takes on a life of its own, if you've set everything up correctly. The more you build, the more difficult it becomes. The problem isn't extracting anything, but tying it all together into a single chain. One resource feeds into another, which turns into a third, and if a bottleneck forms somewhere, the entire line starts to break down. Simple solutions quickly run out, and instead of a neat factory, you end up with a tangled mess of conveyor belts, which you then have to try to untangle yourself. Gradually, new technologies are discovered, and everything goes deeper — literally. The factory begins to expand inward, creating separate spaces where even more can be built. Meanwhile, enemies appear at night, and you have to decide whether to close in and defend yourself or go out and deal with them directly.
