Tavern of Gods – a roguelike with auto-battles and squad building from Element Studio. The game entered early access on December 3, 2020, and the full version was released on August 20, 2021. The premise is unusual: the gods are relaxing in their tavern, playing a small board game out of boredom, and you play as one of them. The Hero and His Followers The game begins with choosing a hero, each with their own skills and talents, with significantly different mechanics. The hero then recruits a squad of followers, of which there are over thirty-five types. They fight independently, and your task is to select them wisely. Racial and class combinations provide bonuses to the squad, so picking fighters at random is unprofitable. Souls collected in battles increase the followers' stars. The hero's skills act as support: at the right moment, they significantly aid the squad, and skill books add random effects to them. Equipment and kits Each item has its own special properties. Three items can be combined into one, higher quality item. Items are included in sets, and the completed set provides an additional effect. Along the way, you'll encounter merchants where you can exchange unwanted items for useful ones. Enemies are unique each time, and among them are elite monsters with random special abilities, so the same team won't always perform equally well. Tavern between hikes The goal of the expedition is to traverse the lands of evil and defeat the demonic lord. Dying along the way is no big deal: each trip earns diamonds, and the further you go, the more you earn. These diamonds are used in the tavern to unlock new heroes, talents, follower traits, and equipment sets. Requirements are low: 4 GB of memory and 2 GB of disk space are sufficient.
