Synthesis Experiment In Modern City, the capital of the Continent, dark energy particles began accumulating at an unprecedented rate. The government urgently built a secret laboratory complex inside the Nexus Tower, which houses both the government headquarters and the research center. Scientists proposed an experiment called "Fusion": isolate a single dark particle and learn to control it. If successful, they would unlock the secret of Re.Surs, the enigmatic force that permeates the Continent. The experiment failed, triggering an emergency protocol, and now the entire city is at risk. The late lab technician The protagonist is an ordinary research assistant who's late for his shift. Until the scientists can stop the decay, he's left to deal with it alone. He's silent, like in old shooters. Puzzles are encountered along the way, and enemies in the lab sections, judging by the Steam tags, include zombies. There's plenty of blood, corpses, and violence in the game, and the developers are upfront about it. Part of a shared universe Synthesis of Corruption continues the story begun in Snowsquall Grip, Re.Surs, and Plastomorphosis, so those familiar with those games will recognize both the Continent and the mysterious power of Re.Surs.
