Surgeon Simulator 2 – a comedy surgery simulator from Bossa Studios, released on Steam on September 2, 2021, in an expanded Access All Areas edition; it's now published by Infogrames and Atari. The patient's name is once again Bob, and the surgeon must operate with a scalpel, a saw, and a plunger, each instrument subject to physics and prone to slipping from his hands. Not just the operating table In Surgeon Simulator 2013, you controlled the table with one hand, but here the surgeon navigates the Bossa Labs medical bay from a first-person perspective. You have to search for the necessary instruments and organs through maze-like corridors, solve puzzles, and avoid traps. The bay itself seems deliberately obstructive, making the hospital almost a separate character. However, the basics remain the same: open a chest cavity, select an organ for transplant, and keep Bob from bleeding out while you deal with your unruly hands. Story by Rihanna Pratchett The campaign was written by screenwriter Rhianna Pratchett. It features plot twists and a mystery surrounding the hospital itself. Beyond the main story, the game offers challenges with absurd tasks: dance competitions, relay races, head transplants, and leg amputations. There's an arcade mode in the spirit of the co-op game and a competitive mode where you can test your strength in arenas. Initially, all of this could be completed with up to four players, but after the game was transferred to Infogrames, the publisher announced that the online features had been removed. Level editor A separate creation mode allows you to build your own levels. Players have created space stations, discos, bowling alleys, and fairs, and these levels can be played just like the main ones.
