Sub-Species is a 2,5D arcade action adventure about survival in the infested depths of the ocean. The player controls an experimental submarine capable of 360° rotation, fending off attacks from alien sea creatures that attack from all directions and leave no safe zone. Maneuver as a weapon The core gameplay revolves around constant movement and spatial orientation. Enemies surround the boat, forcing you to precisely control rotation, choose the angle of attack, and react quickly to threats. Exploration of contaminated zones is accompanied by combat, where positioning and spatial control are more important than brute force. Over the course of twelve levels in four distinct environments, the player discovers new weapons and lost experimental technologies. Shipwrecks and naval outposts conceal upgrades, and the story gradually uncovers the secrets of the alien presence and the role of naval authorities.
