Who better than Digital Extremes, renowned for the Unreal and BioShock series, to develop a Star Trek game? Besides the films, the creators drew inspiration from such renowned action games as Mass Effect, Uncharted, and Metroid Prime. The Evolution engine, previously used in Dark Sector, helped achieve the beautiful space visuals. The game takes place after the events of Star Trek (2009) but before those of Star Trek Into Darkness (2013). It unfolds in 2259, following a distress signal from a space station. With almost no sound coming from the station, Kirk and Spock decide to investigate the problem themselves. It turns out it's connected to an attack by the Gorn, who stole the Helios device, a terraforming device. It quickly becomes clear that the green race has less-than-benevolent intentions... Features Star Trek : This game has two main characters, so a co-op mode is a must. There's also multiplayer. "Each hero is unique. For example, the human Kirk uses a phaser, while the half-Vulcan Spock uses a freeze gun, which fires very quietly. Spock also has abilities that allow him to influence others' minds and nervous systems." - Taking cover is a must! The space station's partitions, railings, and other structures prevent you from becoming an easy target for the forges. "The shootouts are just the beginning!
