SnowJob — is a co-op horror game for up to four players, where artifact hunters venture into a frozen anomalous zone harbouring numerous deadly threats. Your task is to search for signals, dig up suspicious patches of snow, and retrieve valuable finds before weather conditions and an unknown creature force you to abandon your expedition. Snow becomes a fully-fledged part of the surrounding world: you can dig it up, use it to create shelter, and even bury yourself in the snowdrifts during strong winds. Secrets under the snow Before the search begins, the team lands in the anomalous area and begins surveying the territory for signals indicating the location of artifacts. Suspicious areas must be excavated manually, gradually penetrating deeper into the frozen ground. Once found, an item cannot yet be considered loot — each artifact must be individually scanned to count toward the established quota. The problem is that the equipment is quite loud, so prolonged scanning gradually reveals your location. The more finds you attempt to retrieve, the higher the likelihood that something sleeping deep beneath the snow will awaken and begin hunting. Each expedition runs from dusk until dawn, with the requirements for loot gradually increasing. To meet a higher quota, you'll have to take risks and venture deeper, where you can find significantly more valuable artifacts. However, with depth comes increased danger: the caves become darker, more difficult to navigate, and escape routes may not be as safe as initially thought. Snow can be used for protection from the elements, by constructing walls or hiding within snowdrifts, but shelter alone won't solve all problems. If the team fails to collect the required number of artifacts or fails to reach the evacuation point before dawn, the entire expedition will end in failure.
