ShoreTiles — is a strategy game of tile placement, island building, and defense against creatures that emerge from underwater at night. During the day, everything seems almost peaceful: you draw new tiles from the deck, connect terrain types, place farms, walls, settlements, and lighthouses. But any incorrect tile remains forever, and when darkness falls, it becomes clear just how well you prepared. The island is kept afloat by the light Beacons drive away the fog and allow for further expansion, but the light also attracts those hiding in the depths. You have to think not only about a beautiful layout but also about future defenses: where walls will appear, which military tiles will connect, whether there will be enough space for the economy, and whether the new area will be a weak point for a night attack. Chests, relics, and a progress map add new buildings, units, and unexpected effects for subsequent games. Fog isn't just a nuisance: sometimes it provides an advantage, sometimes it brings new enemies. Because of this, the island is assembled differently each time, and a calm tile puzzle quickly turns into a battle for control of the shore, constantly being claimed by the sea.
