Selsoviet is a narrative-driven survival simulator set in an abandoned Soviet village, where scarcity becomes a part of everyday life. Lisa arrives in Herota, hoping to find work and a future for her family, but instead of the promised prosperity, she encounters empty shelves, a shortage of medicine, and the impossibility of simply leaving. Now, her decisions determine what her children will receive and what she will have to sacrifice for them. Debts, conflicts, rumors, and shortages of the most basic necessities gradually change the relationships between the residents of Herota. For some, this village has long since become a place without a future, a place they must escape at any cost. Others are still trying to preserve their families, faith, traditions, and hope for a normal life.
