Scratch The Cat – a vibrant 3D platformer/collectathon from FlatPonies about a cat DJ whose records are stolen. A full Steam release is planned for 2027; a demo is already available. Broken collection The protagonist's name is Scratch, a DJ and vinyl collector. A villain named Snatch the Rat has gotten his hands on his records, smashed them, and scattered the shards across the world. Without music, even his hometown of Melotropolis has fallen silent. The goal is clear: collect the fragments, unlock new levels, and restore the rhythm of the city. In addition to record shards, Juke Bucks, the local currency, are hidden throughout the levels and must be brought to Juki, the music box. Cat on the move Scratch has a rich moveset: running, jumping, sliding, climbing, swimming, and diving. Combining these moves reveals hidden areas that can't be reached with a simple jump. Besides platforming, the levels feature puzzles and characters who need help. Fights with Snatch's minions and bosses are built on a combination of jumping and rhythm: dodging and counterattacking must be done in perfect time. During these battles, you can free allies, such as starfish. The world that dances The action moves from Melotropolis to the Arpeggio Archipelago, through jungles, underwater caves, and volcanoes. Plants and animals in these locations move to the music, so the rhythm is noticeable even where there are no enemies. The soundtrack is original, with a warm vinyl sound and a mix of genres.
