RuneSmith — is a role-playing game about a dwarf who lives exactly as a true dwarf should: working at a forge, seeking adventure, getting into fights, and not forgetting to regularly visit the nearest tavern. When a powerful villain begins to threaten the entire world, most heroes see it as an opportunity for a great feat. Your reason is much simpler: the villain still hasn't returned the money. And dwarves don't forgive such things. Any rune can ruin everything. The forge becomes one of the most important places on the entire journey. Weapons, armor, jewelry, and various magical items are created using runes, which can be combined in the most unexpected ways. Sometimes the result exceeds expectations, and sometimes a problem arises that is far more serious than the one they were trying to solve. Experiments regularly lead to situations where even an experienced craftsman doesn't fully understand what will happen. Life outside the forge isn't exactly peaceful either. One day you might descend into ancient ruins, the next you might participate in a dubious quest, and the next evening you might find yourself in the middle of yet another tavern brawl. Along the way, you encounter merchants, priests, mercenaries, nobles, and other characters who often cause more trouble than the monsters themselves.
