Rift Miner is an adventure game about resource mining in ever-changing underground worlds, where each descent is timed, and a lapse in vigilance can cost you all your loot. Venture into the Rift, destroy rock masses, discover valuable ores, and forge your own routes through fully destructible environments. Your goal is to collect as many resources as possible and return through the portal before the countdown ends. The location of the ore changes from run to run, so each descent requires a different approach. Production at the limit Echo Cards play a special role, providing powerful temporary buffs and allowing for unusual ability combinations. Some cards summon automated drones for autonomous mining, others unleash seismic waves that destroy entire caves, and still others imbue the pickaxe with kinetic energy, allowing it to shatter large swathes of rock with a single swing. Over thirty-two cards offer a variety of development options during a single run, and successful combinations help you mine more in a limited amount of time. After returning to a safe hub, you can spend the resources you've found to permanently upgrade your gear, unlock new abilities, and customize your drill bit. Other Rift types, with more valuable resources and greater dangers, gradually become available. For experienced miners, there are deeper world chains with a fixed timer and no additional Echo Cards: survive successive cycles for major rewards, remembering that one mistake will destroy all the loot in the current chain.
