A girl named Hope is locked in a closed, totalitarian state where reading banned books is punishable by harsh penalties. The only one who can help her is someone who has connected to the local surveillance system — you. The game itself presents the plot as a story about the dangers of state surveillance in the internet age. You need to lead Hope to freedom, moving from room to room past security guards. Through the eyes of the cameras You don't control the heroine directly, but rather the security cameras. Switching between them, you see corridors, mark patrols, and tell Hope where to go and where to hide. In a special mode, the hacker pauses over a map of the building, hacking doors, cameras, and electronics, and discovers the identity of the guard standing before them. There are almost no direct fights: the heroine is weak, so the emphasis is on stealth, distraction, and the right moment. Along the way, you come across forbidden books, documents, and recordings, which help piece together a picture of the structure of this place. How is it different from Republique Remastered?
