Raccoons to Riches – a small card roguelike about a shopkeeper in a fantasy town, released on July 20, 2026. It was developed solo by a developer called Secret Scroll Software. There are no battles: a raccoon shopkeeper sells goods, plays business tactics, and tries not to go broke. Rent every week The goal of the run is simple: pay the rent for the store every week for a month and earn as much gold as possible along the way. There are two types of customers, townspeople and adventurers, and they each want different things. You set your own schedule, dividing your days between trading at the market, shopping at the Supply Shoppe, and weekends. If you make it through the entire month, the run counts as a victory. Buyers' Deck Every day, the display case is filled with what customers love: food, potions, armor, and weapons. Items can be crafted directly during trading, combining several types to create a particularly expensive item. Business tactics and mottos work like cards: they change customer preferences, speed up work, or help find the right item for a major sale. Regular customers form a second deck and return to the shop day after day. New ones can be attracted through advertising, and the annoying ones can simply be kept away. Carpets, shelves and a workbench The store is decorated with five types of decorations: shelves, carpet, lighting, a workbench, and a counter. Decorations aren't just for show: on market day, they trigger free product upgrades, change customers, or allow you to draw an extra card. In the Supply Shoppe, you can purchase goods, attend a seminar to learn new tactics, update your decorations, order advertising, and purchase a longer queue permit.
