Even before the release of the racing game Project CARS, the developers, Slightly Mad Studios, announced a sequel on their official website on June 22nd. Like the first installment in the series, the second will be created with funds donated by gamers. World of Mass Development has once again been chosen as the crowdfunding platform. Gamers are once again promised rewards for donations, meaning they gain a voice in the development process. Project CARS 2, and will also be able to get early access to the game to try it out firsthand. A release date hasn't been announced yet, even tentatively, but it is known that the racing game will be released for three leading platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. What features make people want to download a torrent? Project CARS 2 ? The developers promised that all the flaws characteristic of the first part of their racing series will be corrected. Furthermore, as expected, the next game will feature various innovations. Slightly Mad Studio shared that in Project CARS 2 will be: - 50 countries, uniting more than 200 different routes; - more than 200 vehicles, divided into 40 classes; - 8 different disciplines, including hill climb and rally; - dynamic changes in time of day and weather conditions, which directly affect the grip on the road surface, and therefore, the driving style; - a cooperative mode for four players, where each player is assigned a responsible role: pilot, navigator, spotter, reserve pilot. Thanks to various innovations and the developers' promise to fix bugs, Project CARS 2 should attract even more gamers. This will also be boosted by the fact that the second installment in the series will feature motorcycles in addition to cars. Overall, the project is set to be truly ambitious. Gamers' attitude to the early announcement According to Kotaku, gamers weren't entirely happy with the quick announcement of the second Project CARS game, as the first one only came out on May 6th and needs some improvement. Slightly Mad responded to this wave of discontent by saying that development Project CARS 2 will not affect support for the first part. These processes will proceed in parallel. Gamers' outrage is understandable, as their donations, totaling approximately €3,75 million, accounted for the bulk of the budget for Project CARS, so before investing in the next project, they want to ensure the result is even better.
