Order on the streets You can begin your career with the usual patrol duties: issuing parking tickets, checking for jaywalkers, and combating litter and illegal drinking. Over time, more serious responsibilities become available, including handling traffic accidents, dangerous driving, and apprehending violators. There are over fifty different assignments and challenges, and promotions gradually make the job more challenging and varied. Cases involving illegal substances, weapons, car theft, and drug trafficking are particularly tense.
